The best political advisors I met/worked with often asked questions, not because they did not know but to be able to tease out how best to communicate things, whether with politicians they worked for or journalists and/or the public.

I am much happier that the question was asked than people bluster on pretending to know things. We need to encourage questions to be asked. We can't all know everything
