BREAKING: Gov. Dan McKee sends a letter to the RIPTA board urging the agency to "develop a new proposal—one that balances new revenue strategies with targeted reductions to low-performing routes."

Letter comes only minutes before the board is slated to vote on a plan that would cut 16 routes.

Breaking: RI’s assault weapons ban has been signed into law by Gov. Dan McKee.

Former North Kingstown basketball coach, Aaron Thomas, did not respond to questions from reporters as he entered court this morning.

Thomas is accused of performing “fat tests” on naked students. His trial starts this morning.

Brown told me the school has no information to substantiate reports.
