It was pretty jarring to wake up yesterday to talk of troops and even worse, sanctioned armed militias. Somehow in the matter of days, things got talked up from an appropriate response to a heinous crime, to now we're living in a failed state with armed gangs driving around in Toyota Hiluxes

Hey @albomp.bsky.social, your envoy really needs to learn how to distinguish between antisemitism and protests against the genocide being perpetrated by the Israeli Government

Just found an interesting option - bushfire.io

For North America it combines NOAA satellite data with other data so you can see the hotspots (doesn't look like it covers my part of the world where it just shows the same data our fire app shows)

As someone watching from afar (Australia), it baffles me that it takes a volunteer organisation to create this. Our rural firefighting services (state based, government funded, with a mix of full time and volunteer staff) all produce this data and we have an app that aggregates it all

Wow, that sucks. Companies are so bad at this

I got an email from Ticketek 4 weeks ago, but they kind of downplayed it a bit and we're not clear that hashed passwords were part of breach

Clearly the cops do not understand the correct priorities. Lack of chips is a most heinous crime
