Cycle parking on the West Schelde ferry. (Vlissingen to Breskens). Lots of cycles on the water taxi from Dordrecht to Rotterdam too.

I can recommend cycling in the Netherlands. I have not done it myself, but the cycling network is amazing. You can hire cycles at the Hoek van Holland if you travel by ferry.

The AA-81, a DAF, entered service in 1991 and served the royal family for fifteen years, transporting them to important occasions. The bus was donated to the DAF Museum in Eindhoven in 2007.

Off the ferry in good time to find our train could not complete its journey. Line closed between Haarlem and Slotterdijk, so we improvised and arrived at Den Helder via a different route. @janetspog.bsky.social

Stopping off at Locomotion, @janetspog.bsky.social and I reached our destination in Braithwaite as planned. The car park rammed at 10:10. The place was full of model train suppliers and customers. We found the New Shed housing freight the most interesting.
