New mailbag video coming soon, just need to order some more parts. Got an idea for a project! 2x(non-multiplexed) 7 segments, 4 channel level shifter, ESP-01S WiFi module and 5V adapter board and an 32x8 MAX7219 LED matrix!

Been buying stuff on eBay - got a 4 channel bi-directional level shifter, didn't realise how small these boards are! May come in handy for an upcoming project... #electronics

Testing my eBay camera boom arm/ring light with my Canon R50. The ring light has 3 colour temps and adjustable brightness. Not sure I want to trust this thing to hold my camera if I'm honest... Overhead videos coming soon? I need to fix my wobbly table too somehow...

Been playing with Tinkercad for the first time tonight, actually managed somehow to make something resembling an STS-5 Geiger-Muller tube. Just need to add the ridges and the fuse holder clips now 🤓☢️

😩The ESP-32 board is too wide to fit on a breadboard! There's no room to access the pins! Might have to use protoboard instead? Pic 2 & 3 My (crusty) ESP8266 for comparison #ESP32 #ESP8266 #Electronics

Having a go at making my first PCB footprint in KiCad, this is to hold an STS-5 GM tube using 5x20mm fuse holder clips. Wondering if/how I can export this to EasyEDA.

Installed FreeCAD this evening, hoping to make my own models for KiCad/EasyEDA. Somehow managed to make something resembling a GM tube without looking anything up. Getting some calipers soon so I can measure stuff accurately!
