Only because I notice weird things:

The current pitching WAR leaders - and presumptive Cy Young front-runners - both have last names starting with "Sk." Best I can tell, no other pitcher whose last name starts with Sk has ever won the award.

You think Crawford's profile is more likely to hold up in Philadelphia? Sort of a higher floor, lower ceiling situation, or how do you value them head to head and in the trade market?

You're right, and I know the coaches and teams are smarter than me. I was just hoping to see him try to become a wily veteran. My frustration is more that THIS version of CK can't be worse than what they're running out there every day! (I know he can.)

How do you not give him a week or two, just to see? It's not like they've got other potential crunch time relievers knocking on the door. Was it really just to save a few bucks by not paying his prorated contract?
