I cleared my camera down of the poor shots taken over the last few days. It is a canon compact. They were distant from the river bank about 2pm. Not with the main white fronted group in the open. Then I saw them near a gate, that bill is distinctive and the rest stacked up. Partly obscured by reeds.

The pics are pink-footed, the Taigas I saw from the river bank but way too far for a photo.

That is because they are, the Taiga shots were too poor even for me,.
