I wasn't born yet but I like to think I would've been one of those kids running home to watch it after school. I saw DS for the first time as a young adult when it aired on the Sci-Fi Channel in the late 90s, and I had already seen the inferior (imo) revival series beforehand.

We hurried to my grandma's house every weekday after school to watch #DarkShadows. It was so simultaneously camp and creepy and we never missed it. Good times.
