Would they say Democrats won big in 1974 not because of Watergate but because voters didn’t like the direction of the economy? Republicans won the 1864 elections because of Lincoln’s tariff policy not cuz the Dems were surrender monkeys to the Confederates.

Off the top of my head one example would be Chris Van Hollen. He has shown fight, was in leadership when he was in the House and is roughly in line with Chuck policy wise. I’d take him over anyone in D Senate leadership now

Pretty sure one of the reasons their standards bar is so high is that they messed up the story on W and his National Guard service during the 04 election. Conservatives freaked out and this was their course correction.

Especially since we all evolved from the same place not very long ago and the melanin levels in skin is one of the fastest adaptations humans can make to an environment. The change is literally and figuratively skin deep. Pretty sure brain structure would take a little longer…

Totally agree. Steph opened people’s eyes to a more efficient way of running an offense. You can’t replicate Steph but you can get close (80%-90%?) by focusing on generating open threes for great shooters. Jokic is not replicable at 90%. Wemby will be the same. How do you replicate that?

False narratives can go forever despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. People still believe the Earth isn’t warming and that it’s flat. Some people believe the Civil War was about states rights not slavery, and even that the US really put a man on the moon instead of filming it in a studio!

He’s like a supermodel wearing grunge in the 90’s, unflattering and ill fitting clothes that make even the hottest people look mid. Dylan’s lyrics were amazing but then he’d make a song that was awful. Except Grunge was purposefully anti fashion while Dylan was trying to make great songs but sucked

100% agree. My daughter’s favorite movies were the Tinkerbell movies with her fairy friends. All of her friends seemed to watch them 100 times. It was tough to find a similar series with girl friendship at its core.
