Why so mad? Just keeping it real.

Definitely prefer to use a Mac myself, but curious why you find Linux so painful. Also, when you say Linux that’s a pretty big surface. Are you forced to use a crappy distro at work?

I guess I’m blinded by my privilege, but I wouldn’t call an M4 Mac Mini overpriced. You can easily find an M1 these days for just a few hundred bucks on eBay.

Less equivalent now that they all run Apple silicon. You get way more bang for your buck compared to Intel/AMD. It’s also much less expensive to get into the ecosystem nowadays, especially when you consider the used/refurb market.

Seems pretty reasonable to me. Not so different from displaying widgets, and maybe more useful. I rarely see my desktop though, so I don’t really have a strong opinion either way.
