Catlateral Damage is at SGDQ again! This time, it’s a Remeowstered run
The schedule block for Catlateral Damage: Remeowstered at SGDQ 2025. It’s scheduled for 3:20AM ET on Thursday, July 10 (tomorrow). It’s a Procedural Gauntlet run by Retroverse estimated at 25 minutes long

Lastly, here are all 266 pet photos can be found in the final game. This was my favorite part of the Kickstarter, and I'm so happy we could memorialize everyone's pet(s) this way!

Going through my old files I also found the original logo I made 😄 (final version for reference)
The original flat and very cartoony logo, with the word "Catlateral" surrounded by a cloud and "Damage" surrounded by an explosion. "Cat" is blue and "-lateral" is grey to reinforce that it's a cat game. The final logo. Still cartoony, but with a little more depth in each letter. The letters in "Catlateral" are calico colored, with ears on the "C", toe beans on the middle "A", and a tail on the last "L". The letters in "Damage" are all askew with cartoony stars and clouds behind them.

Today is the 10 year anniversary of the release of the original Catlateral Damage on Steam! Here are some old screenshots of the original 7DFPS game jam prototype (from way back in 2013)

Wil had surgery yesterday, which means last night and today has been a lot of babysitting and taking silly shark cone photos

I also collect video games and related memorabilia, like to cook/bake (this year I’ve been learning how to make croissants), and have two cats named Wil and Lyn. Very happy to chat about any of those in more detail 😄

I never introduced myself! I’m Chris, an indie dev who made a silly little cat game and is currently figuring out what’s next. Most recently I worked at Fire Hose Games on an unannounced project, but have done QA, project management, and miscellaneous dev work throughout my 12 years in the industry
