It's even dumber since if the clock had stopped with 1 second left after the field goal the Raiders would have had a teeny tiny itsy bitsy chance of not losing the game, which is surely what the 74 year old football lifer head coach had on his mind and not ~*~the line~*~

I don't put much extra weight on post season success myself, but haven't all of the slow motion replays of the Malcolm Butler interception tarnished Russ' playoff reputation anyway? So many seem to single him out for blame as to why the Legion of Boom only got one ring.
