I remember buying the Doctor Midnight book and being blown away by Matt Wagners writing. I wish DC would at least hint he's around.

Thats what made me so mad when Infinite Crisis came out. I can see that he fell into a mindset of ends justified the means but reading that era always felt like Max did kind of have a heart/believe in what he was doing.
