The Lancet has just been incredible lately. Multiple articles about the Gaza genocide and now this.

People need to stop trying to help the ultra wealthy and corporations, and start trying to help their actual neighbors.
The ultra wealthy and corporations aren't looking out for you at all. In many cases, they're actively harming you.

Capitalism has zero ethics built into it.
It does not oppose nations supporting genocide or care about hungry children.

How can the media say this stuff with a straight face?
The ceasefire was violated. Over 100 people were killed. This isn't just a "whoopsie daisy".
We can't keep normalizing Israel's violence.

I still need to finish reading this article, but seeing this after the NYT story about long covid in kids earlier this month is giving me a little hope that people are finally waking up.

Yes, the establishment has set a very low bar, but a statement that acknowledges the genocide and the need for accountability and a future without apartheid is huge.
