Maddest of mad, most surreal and amazing thing of the day. I've been shortlisted for an award. So happy and shook.

Highly recommend this beautiful book. It's had lots of hype and it lives up to it. Perfection.

This dark and twisted tale of grifters, liars, Louisiana alligators and excessive amounts of alcohol is a delight and every bit as fun and clever as Death of a Bookseller.
Out next month.

Highly recommend this teisted, dark fable. It's a riff on the theme of the Bluebird story, beautifully written in sparse yet lyrical prose. Clever way to address the timely theme of toxic masculinity.
Out now

OMG. I made the pages of the Daily Mirror and Express and it's not for a scandal.

Abhorrent. One finger to Trump and one to Vance. So grotesque and offensive.

Unbelievably, my book is reviewed in today's Observer. So happy to see this and such a great review.

Can't recommend this book enough. I'm blown away. Sadly, not out till June but is available to review on Netgalley.

Obsessed with #applecidervinegar on Netflix. The rise of 'wellness' culture is a petri dish for dangerous grifters like Belle Gibson. I love how layered this show is and how relevant it is to this age of misinformation and pseudoscience. Essential, infuriating, hilarious, and heartbreaking viewing

These are my recommendations for seven new books that are out on Thursday and two from last week. It's an exciting year for new fiction.

I couldn't resist making Sick to Death into a 'You're So Funny' meme.

Highly recommend this dark, gruesome and utterly beautiful debut by @lucyrosecreates.bsky.social
It's getting a lot of attention and quite rightly. It's an exceptional work in the tradition of Angela Carter.

Two huge book releases today. Loved both of these.

This is an interesting development. There's a book out by a Love Island and Strictly star. Unlike most celebrity books this one has the name and photo of the co-writer.
Hopefully a sign that people are sick of being lied to about who wrote a book and that ghost writers will be properly acknowledged

Shock delivery today. Twenty copies of my book arrived. Totally unexpected and I may be feeling quite emotional now.

My favourite time for a walk on the South Bank is early morning at the weekend. Perfect wintery walk (as evidenced by my red nose).

Me? Taking the dog for a walk on Greenwich Park at 8am and half killing myself because I was worried about her mental health? As if.
