Successfully managed to migrate a couple of projects including Test Track to use Turbopack. So much faster, was kind of painful navigating between pages before.

I don’t get why I’m seeing so many people saying they are leaving next and going to tanstack.

Yes next had a vulnerability so did react. People aren’t moving away from react so why just next. Tanstack isn’t immune from having CVEs published against it in the future.

Am I missing something

Added activity stream when viewing a support ticket for Solve Flow and added a notification system of the activity stream as well. Think I should be ready to start doing the issue tracking now

Finally managed to release the new version today. Took just under a week to complete the migration and do a couple of bug fixes as well.

Been migrating Test Track to use better auth, don’t know why I thought it was going to be quick, taking a lot longer than I expected. Not the fault of better auth though.

If the AWS outage was specific to US-East-1, why did some NHS and gov[.]uk sites go down, surely they are not hosted in the US, they should be in the UK, at the very least be in Europe.

Found Postmark, giving that a try and seems pretty good so far.
Any recommendations for alternatives to sendgrid. Need email importing as well as sending, I've used mailgun in the past as well, so any other options - cheaper the better

Is anyone else having an issue with MacOS Tahoe where it randomly keeps enabling a location based focus mode, even though I am not in that location? Its only started doing it since my Mac was updated, never did it when the iPhone was updated to iOS26

Successfully migrated from next auth/auth js to better auth on a new project I am working on, need to do it for Test Track at some point but that's going to be a lot more complex

Tried giving turbopack a chance in nextjs, and I'm not sure if I'm missong something, but code that worked fine, suddenly doesn't and instead get weird errors where I have to make huge code changes to make a bundler work, doesn't seem right to me.

You'll soon be able to add tags to a Test Plan/Test Run step on
test-track.com so you can group and filter steps.

Been planning for a while, but since migrating test-track.com to NextJS had some deployment issues when building so forced me to look into docker to improve the deployment. Going well so far.

Is it my imagination or are AI getting worse, it seems to completely ignore what you tell and gives vauge responses even though you've given it context it or makes up some BS that's obviously wrong.

In IDE often seems to call functions that don't exist or has wrong parameters

I have finally completed the testing of the new version of test-track.com and will be available for release in the next couple weeks. Normally would do the upgrade straight away, but this is a rare time where I need to take it offline to migrate the database.

I'd spent the last few days trying to work out how to do the image migration for Test Track. I went away for a night to Cambridge and got it fully working within a couple of hours working from a hotel bar and hotel room. How does that work 😂

I've decided to go with Cloudflare R2, I've always been a bit dubious about using 3rd parties incase I get a sudden unexpected cost, but I think I should be fairly safe with this option. 🤞
I had planned to use minio for a self hosted object storage, tested it last month to see whether it would fit as a POC, went to install it today to start developing against it and found all the features I looked at have been stripped out in the latest update
