This is painful, and saddening, and embarrassing. I feel like we're losing a member of the family - and for no good reason other than that some Americans wanted another season of the worst reality TV show in history.

Trump will not take over 🇨🇦 for a very simple reason.
Canada is a fairly liberal country. Even our conservatives are liberal by American standards.
Canada becoming the 51st state would be a very large problem for Republicans.

Don't leave the password null when creating a user through alternative means (Social auth, invites, etc). This creates a possible security hole in your application.
Use an observer to create a random password that is saved for the user.
