That’s #undc2025 wrapped for me. My first @unison.org.uk conference and hopefully not my last. Getting to speak with so many dedicated members and spend time with colleagues who only usually exist on Teams, has been great. Also, Liverpool is still properly ace.

Today was the day! A group of us all swam 20 lengths each (some faster than others) to raise money for the amazing John Eastwood Hospice. So far, I’ve raised just over £350 with more still to count. Thank you so much if you’ve donated ❤️

…and with that, the 2024 season comes to an end. My time with Mayor Claire is up. My political bucket list has been well-ticked.

A real treat of a day supporting the Mayor of the East Midlands. We toured the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage sites including Cromford, Belper and here at Darley Abbey. However, I still can’t feel my frozen toes.
