I've heard chatter on the @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social forums saying that they are calling this collection of 6 tables in the 2000AD hall "flavour town".

And while I might not agree with the naming, I can't disagree with the vibes.

I've also heard my new Space Captain book will be available.

Listen we all make mistakes and you shouldn’t beat yourself up about it.

Unless you print your own name wrong in the very first page of your newly printed comic.
Then you should be roundly condemned by your loved ones and cast out into the rain.

As expected; if I go to cancel and walk through their 99 steps to cancel, they eventually offer me a discounted rate for the "pro" plan which is cheaper than their standard plan.

However last year in their sale I paid only £327.91. So I'll wait.

If, like me, you are stuck in the hellscape that is Adobe and they've just sent you an email saying your plan is increasing, check to see what plan you are on...

I never subscribed to the "pro" plan which just has a bunch of shitty AI options built in. If I swap to "standard" I'll save nearly £200.

I received one of those really annoying AI generated emails praising my books and how they want to "help" get it out to a wider audience.

Except it wasn't even my book. Was so confused.
But after a little search it turns out there's an author out there called Christopher Baldi.

I've been practicing how to hand cut dovetail joints recently, so I set myself the project of making a little dispenser for rolls of poop bags.

It was entirely stupid, flawed, janky at some angles... but I'm very proud.

Held on the wall by a little French cleat if anyone is interested.

My beloved Wacom MobileStudio 2017, is being forced into retirement by windows. Plus it’s slowly grinding to a halt.

What’s the best pen displays these days? I don’t need the computer element of this type anymore, just something to plug into a Mac.

Any good trustworthy reviews online?

Thanks to everyone who backed the book and reposted all my boring posts!
No one enjoys a kickstarter spam fest, least of all those who have to actively make them.

So I appreciate every one of you that repeatedly helped me along the way.

Do I want an even 200, sure. will I get it, who knows!

A great collection of books at the carboot sale today. Particular big fan of Tomatoes.

An inner page of the comic shows our titular Space captain running away from the big bad guy and getting tackled to the ground.

What's your thoughts on this:

On the French version they removed all of my borders on my panels. Now, I really love panels. I love hand drawing them (digitally). They make a piece feel instantly "comic-y" to me.

I don't dislike the borderless version, but they also never discussed it with me.
Two version of the Space Captain book sit side by side. On the left is the large hardback French version titled "Traque Dans L'espace" and on the right is the upcoming English version titled "Space Captain: Captain of Space". Both the french and English versions are opened at the same page inside. On the left the French version of the comic has no borders around the panels, just the clean white gutter between each. While on the right hand side is the upcoming English version that has all my original which black drawn panel borders.

Look at how cute this Robert book is though.

The design is so naive(in a good way?) and charming.

I had to draw our house for a thing, so I decided to crack out the old isometric style I used to play around with a lot.

It's fun to have that constriction cause you can bang this out in about an hour.

Pretty good though if I do say so.
The voice over is pants, but the animations are pretty great.
