It's not that drivers "still prefer the rumble and smell of petrol cars to the silent, odourless alternative" 🙄
It's because (outside China) they're more expensive and charging infra isn't yet adequate

This is what struck me: the exact same stance as Badenoch's predecessors, almost to a word, which begs the question, why bother to announce it? To which we know the answer: trying rather tragically to keep up with Reform, who for its part, is mainly virtue signalling to the admin in Washington
