Federal dollars do not go to illegal immigrants. Note: Emergency rooms must treat anyone. Fed dollars do help repay the hospital for those who don't have insurance that visit the ER. It's 1% of the fed budget for all unpaid ER visits and that includes .4% illegal immigrants.
