I thought they weren't even drilling as much as they could in areas already available?

Lawyers and others involved in the case had seen the information during prior admin. They can't speak on it until the info is "released". Scrubbing is not going to work. Names and details are already out there.

Nothing is able to wound Trump except being ignored. I don't know why "journalists" even bother to question him. It's just going to be lies anyway. Just go find stories worth reporting and watch him lose his shit. Wins all around.

Even if true, which I don't believe, I'd say the problem begins with auto design. Making repairs to cars causing the warranty to be voided or in some cases illegal and then blaming mechanics is the essence of the stick in the spokes meme.

Just loose mathing here but that would come to around 7k over 18 years. Which will be worth around half of it's buying power in 18 years. Even if it happened, what is the point?

At the very least, No Kings may provide comfort to the many marginalized groups being targeted by the administration as so many people came out to say, we see you. The performance of that sentiment is very worthwhile.

He'll never be forgiven for beating out Parker and Stone's "Blame Canada" for the Oscar with that song. Especially after having Robin Williams epically perform the South Park song at the ceremony.

"Human Nature" is not static. We decide our nature. Monogamy is a good example of most of us deciding on our nature.

Because Abraham couldn't keep it in his pants?

I'm a gen xer and childless but I don't remember "school drop-off" in elementary, middle, or high school. When did this start? Why did this start? It's fascinating.

Ah, I see. Isreal will stop indiscriminate bombing and will just go back to open air prisons and military backed illegal settlements.

I think that album is a masterpiece and while I don't dislike most of their other work, the overwhelming popularity of their other work diminishes Pinkerton's appreciation.

Isn't this information public record? Isn't this just a request to have it in one place? I thought call logs, especially those with the WH are recorded.

By adding Knox gelatin to traditional jello shots, you can dramatically increase the amount of alcohol in the recipe. Also, the firmer consistency allows for these to be made in sheet pans and cubed. You can hold them, stick them to people's bodies which can lead to interesting events.

The intent of terrorists is terror. We need to use the correct language and often.

My only hope is that Jeffries uses this opportunity to rip that regime on stage and then donate his earnings to a worthy cause. I just can't see him participating for a check.
September 30, 2025 at 3:37 AM
I kinda agree with that but part of Burr's thing is he tries, with varying success, to be a-political. He rips on all politicians while not really identifying with any group. Jeffries, on the other hand, is unequivocally anti-authoritarian and was quite effective at speaking truth to power.

I think I'm most surprised by Jim Jeffries. That one really hurts my feelings.

What kills me is people like this are such dimwits and so lacking in imagination that they'd risk it all for $50k. That's hardly even corruption money.

He was a concession guest as they plugged his Hulu (Disney) show. It will probably get a lot of views it likely would not have received. Probably not a coincidence that he was wearing green on green (Hulu color) either.

This is similar to the phrase "communist dictator" that the left and right like to bandy about.

Your firing is an abomination but hardly surprising. Perhaps you can now take some time to ponder whether publishing on substack is your best option since it profits off the distribution of the type of rhetoric that shapes the ideology that got you fired. Best wishes.

This is such a nothingburger. 3 world leaders talking about medical advancement. At least the autocrats are still listening to and funding scientists.
September 4, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Yeah, not a fan of this rhetoric. Needs nuance. Of course US citizens should have a stake in any company whose R&D is subsidized by taxpayers. Especially big pharma. A great many things should be nationalized. Also fuck Trump.
