They actually shipped Episode 1 & Episode 2 with commentary at the start, while it was still fresh in the developer's minds. The "base" game added it now, with 20 years of distance, which gave them the ability to put their accomplishments and challenges in context of games and tech that came later

I seem to recall the same argument made about Reddit and it never happened. Reddit spawned countless subreddits but very few alt-reddits using the codebase

(Hackernews being one exception?)

The ones I use most are the Keyboard manager, accents, and imager resizer

All should be part of their respective Windows features IMO. I don't understand why they're relegated to this odd add-in

Are PowerTools a preview of Windows features in beta, waiting to be mainstreamed? If not, what is it?

PowerToys seems like a weird mishmash of random stuff that keeps bothering me to update. And I only really want one of the features. Maybe time to unbundle?
