The party I had was themed to have fun with the film. For instance, the only drink was White Russians, and the only food was sandwiches, which Bing Crosby used as a funny metaphor in the film.

"Great Christmas Memory" -- My mother's trance of happiness as she put ornaments on the Christmas tree. We always had live trees so the smell of pine contributes and even the tang of the old family ornaments. The smile on Mom's face warms my heart.
