I was expecting the gathering of the generals to be more sinister. Instead it's a fucking pep talk from the Fox News guy. I expect there may be some more off camera items that are going to be bend-the-knee type requests.

That doesn't mean that we have to keep up with the same standards that China does??? Also I thought that this guy believed that windmills stopped all wind 🤔

The United States government needs to consider the optics of these camps and how they are viewed by the rest of humanity. I want no association with deathcamps. It's bad enough that we are enabling genocide in Palestine.

Unrestrained capitalism is a pathway to Feudalism. If you have ever played Monopoly, this is the end goal. Make it impossible for the other players to survive, take all of their money, and win. However, government plays a minimal role in Monopoly.

Was reviewing the Wiki page for mass shootings and came across this statistic. Seems like only women should be allowed to purchase firearms. "Women are too emotional" seems to be working out for them just fine.

I'm so grateful for Governor Hochul's support in unifying our party, her resolve in standing up to Trump, and her focus on making New York affordable. I look forward to the great work we will accomplish together.

The VA 11th district election went easily to James Walkinshaw last night. It was a special election, so I am cautiously optomistic that the gubernatorial elections in November will result in a more liberal result as well. Turnout was low, but there seems to be a lot more enthusiasm from D's!

One of the best things about tattooing is that my beloved, diversely-skilled clients are also now my own army of Guys. Need a motorcycle mechanic? I got a Guy. Wedding flowers? You better believe I got a Guy. Aerospace electrical systems safety engineer? Oh yeah. I got one of those too.
my father-in-law is a “I know a guy” Guy. sadly all the old Guys are aging out of the Guy Economy. Guys are fundamentally incompatible with Hustle Culture because it’s not about “winning” a deal, it’s about collecting favors and goodwill in a mutually-beneficial cycle. protect your local Guy Economy
