I think Slafkovsky proved, last night, that he’s a valuable commodity. Strong on the puck. Strong net front presence. Was visible even playing away from Suzuki and Caufield.

I mean, Montembault was way out of position, but that puck was missing the net. Had he been in position, that wouldn’t even have been registered as a shot. He is unlucky.

Absolutely no reason for Xhekaj to accept that invitation. ALL the momentum is on his teams side. He has nothing to prove to the Senators. He already owns them.

While I completely agree with the business side of the trade and how it will have 0 effect on the roster, the day Price gets “traded” will be a hard one to swallow. Hab for life. #gohabsgo
