Great article. Just thinking about the Chatbot therapist example whilst reading David Bohm on the importance of sensitivity in dialogue this morning & this stood out: ‘Sensitivity involves the senses’. Simple but true! We pay a lot of attention to the content of thought but much less to the process

Reminds me of a great Ted Talk looking at the history of fire and humanity's role in it. Two narratives prevail: 'promethean fire' - fire as technological power - and 'primeval fire' - fire as a companion. We need much more of the latter: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPC7...

On rare earth minerals... In one mine only 0.2 percent of the mined clay contains the valuable rare earth elements. This means that 99.8 percent of earth removed in rare earth mining is discarded as waste, creating new pollutants like ammonium
