About to start it as part of a book club and it sounds lovely! Found Family trope from what I understand which I love. Godkiller also has that to an extent and I'm on the second book now and it's been great.

Agree the academy is crap (as are most award shows). Conceptually I think TV Glow was super strong but the execution fell a little flat for me. I also really don't care for Justice Smith, I don't see the appeal. The final scene and the music was excellent though! Good movie but not quite great
