And here you come, with a cup of tea
Wreathed in steam.
The blood jet is poetry,
There is no stopping it.
You hand me two children, two roses.

The very first Sylvia Plath poem that I read was "Kindness",

Hope you got sorted, all my tech changed itself. I had to google how to change my analogue watch, and I haven't a notion how to do a heavy wooden clock that was a legacy.

I did my watch, adding a couple of minutes, I like to be ahead of myself.

"The Blasphemer's Banquet" By Tony Harrison was a film-poem written by Tony Harrison in response to the riots around Salman Rushdie's "The Satanic Verses". An act of love and solidarity by Harrison. I read it first in his book "The Shadow of Hiroshima and other film poems".

RIP Tony Harrison
