Today was graduation and our first where faculty wore regalia.

I had the honor of wearing Beeson Divinity School Founding Dean Dr. Timothy George’s robe.

To walk in the regalia of someone who shaped my theological journey meant more than I can say.

One highlight of the IACE Conference was hearing Dr. Timothy Tennent, the new Beeson Divinity Methodist Chair, speak on “Christian Higher Education and the Global Church.” Excited to have him in Birmingham and to learn more from him!

Dr. David Dockery reunited with the 1974 Alabama basketball team tonight, celebrating their 50-year anniversary. As a student, he served in the athletics department, assisting the legendary Coach C.M. Newton. #RollTide #AlabamaBasketball

This week marks the beginning of Dr. David Dockery’s 30th year as a president in Christian higher education.

I’m excited that my book *The Educator’s Sacred Calling* will highlight his enduring insights on theology, leadership, and higher ed.

On November 28, 2018, Dr. Jason Duesing became my PhD dissertation supervisor at Midwestern. His teaching, guidance, and mentorship shaped me.

Five years ago today Timothy Keller came to Birmingham and I was able to tell him how much he’s influenced my life. Thank you, John Ball, for inviting me! Keller’s insights, sermons, and books left such an impact on me that I recently named my son Keller in his honor.
