May 4th is always a day of remembrance for me. I lived in Northeast Ohio in my youth, not far from Kent State University.
When we got the news that the National Guard had open-fired on the students there, we were dumbfounded.
Now, nothing our government does surprises me, but I am still grieving.

Be sure to remind yourself that the accomplishments of others doesn't diminish your own efforts.
In this age of social media, it's important to feel good about yourself, but not by comparison to others. Remember that you are valid and important.

Donold is blaming a plane crash that killed 67 people on “DEI” with zero evidence.

He is attempting to use racism to deflect from the fact it is HIS fault. He had just removed 100 FAA senior officials.

It’s been 11 days and there are 67 bodies in the Potomac in Washington DC because of him.

Forty years ago today, I woke up to go to work, with no clue about what was about to happen.
My whole world changed forever that night.
This is my advice to you: ALWAYS remember to tell the people you love that you love them! They probably already know it, but do it anyway.
Rest peacefully, Mom.

My mantra for today's holiday:
Martin Luther King, Jr's Day.

Freedom • Justice • Honor •
Equality • Change • Peaceful •
Advocate • Education •
Rights • Uplifting •

Dr. King's own words, which ring true today (especially), and every day.
