I tried booking a later flight, but ended up booking an earlier one because I mistakenly confused the arrival time with the departure time. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I’m low key proud of myself. This is my first ever sewing project. I was unfortunately off by a couple of inches (damn you, imperial system), so I can’t wear it 😭 #sewing #dungarees

The past few weeks have been CRAZY, but I should share some of the highlights. :-)

Many of my French-speaking students call database joins "joints" in my English-taught (!) database course. I can't help but see them as a bunch of potheads.
It's because a "join" is a "jointure" in French.

I’m giving exams and trying to reply to emails. I just signed one with Christmas instead of Christophe… I am mortified.

I'm grading papers, and most students provide examples about Pokémon, Cats, and D&D. What are they trying to achieve? 😏

Had a bit of a health scare, but recovering by rereading a book I got when I was a teenager. It’s still in a decent enough shape! #lordoftherings

The weather is nice and I went for a quiet one on a terrace. Drunk guy wanted to flirt, I said no. He insisted on ordering a friendly drink. I conceded. Two drinks arrived, awkward chat, he left. Plot twist : he ordered drinks on my tab. The absolute cheek! #OnlyInLiège

To the group who enrolled in group 1 and named themselves "Group 7," you got me. Hats off to you for this expert level of trolling. :-)

My Parker fountain pen that I had since high school became unusable. The plastic became too brittle. It was one of my favorite pens. The end of an era. 😭

I have been overwhelmed by emails, messages, etc. And I find reading papers on a screen tiring. Call me old, but I have decided to go back to paper for smaller classes.
