Right, I was just raised to treat people with respect if they weren’t hurting anybody. There was no precipitating event. Like my default stance is just “be nice to people unless they’re hurting others?”

Was dirty air always a thing in F1? Or was there an era where it wasn’t a common concern because the cars weren’t so similar in performance?

Can Alpine weather the crashes, financially? I’ve read that Sargeant at Williams and Schumacher at Haas was making the money people sweat, but can Alpine be more patient with their finances?
