As a freelance rigger, I need to make sure my builds have a lot of flexibility. So I've recently reworked my lid modules to add variable joint counts. Higher joint counts for fidelity and control, lower counts for simplicity and optimization. Or I can test and iterate to find a happy middle ground

King Krush is here! I've been working for Superseed Studios, in collaboration with the team at Blizzard, to build the rig for Hearthstone's first pet. He was a fun and unique challenge, balancing rig flexibility and expression controls with low joint and polygon counts

Proper joint placement and orientation is essential to good rigging. My joint guide system uses poly planes to help streamline this process, a relatively simple feature. These pieces of geometry are attached to each joint, stretch with their length and can be scaled up independently #rigtip

I rigged several iconic animals for the Australia Pavilion at Expo 2025, now open in Osaka Japan. If you're lucky enough to visit the experience, pay close attention to the trees in the opening area "land country". You'll spot hidden screens in the tree trunks featuring vignettes of these animals
