My first exposure to Jackie Chan was Cannonball Run 2. I didn't know who he was, but young me understood the fact that those movies were star studded and that he was famous in some way.

This is a demo that can be downloaded, though, if you want to try it out.

Just physical. There's an extra chip in the cart for enhanced audio. Also, the company, Kai Magazine Software, don't generally sell ROMs of their games. That said they should still have copies and the price is reasonable for a physical cart.

We live in a time where new Sega Genesis games are being made. I'm still playing through the newly released game "The Secret of the Four Winds.". I also still have the Suiloden Remaster to finish up.

I was telling a friend who still just has a PS4 that the best reason to get a PS5 is that it runs PS4 games better. I love my PS5 but I don't pretend it has very many exclusives. (Just FF 7 Intergrade and the Horizon Forbidden West DLC for me).

Isn't that basically just Loadstar: The Legend of Tully Bodine?

I may be misremembering, but I seem to recall Tomb Raider initially started development as a Saturn game.

As I approach 50, I've come to realize there's a difference between growing up and growing old. I still have trouble thinking of myself as an adult sometimes...my body, OTOH, is happy to remind me I'm not a teenager (or even in my 30s) anymore. Still, the games help keep me feeling younger.

I also pro-ordered the SuperStation, and will likely drop the Analogue Duo in the near future. I enjoyed my time with the Duo, but the SuperS is a better solution for me. I also intend on keeping my Mega SG, again because of the physical component that doesn't exist with the Duo.

I remember buying Chrono Trigger and Lunar: Eternal Blue at Toys R Us with my first paycheck at a new job after being unemployed for 9 months in 1995. A month later I bought a Saturn at that same Toys R Us.

I also do that with spaghetti or ravioli. Taco seasonings rather than Italian. Especially ravioli.

Huh...I make those for myself occasionally without knowing it. There wasn't a taco bell near where I lived growing up in PA. Didn't have regular access to one till my family moved to the Midwest in the early 90s.

I have sent multiple...and it's a pain every time. At least now, the faxes I receive and work off of are digital on my end, so yay for less paper waste. It is possible I sent a postcard at some point when I was a kid and don't remember, but I can't say, so it's a "never."
January 6, 2025 at 4:22 PM
I have never actually sent a postcard. Instead, I bought souvenir coffee mugs. A couple of those things I still do (I send faxes at work, for example)

Did more damage to my ears when I wasn't expecting it. Newer CD players (post 2000) tended to have better adaptions in them and wouldn't play anything for data tracks, in my experience.

When I was still working in the office (and not on blood pressure medication) I would put a Swiss Miss hot chocolate packet in my cup, and then use the coffee to fill it up with (and maybe a little bit of creamer to lighten it.

To my knowledge only CF 2 ever got an English translation originally (new collection notwithstanding). Between this and the Tengai Makeup games starting to get fan translations, it's a wonderful time to be a TG-16/PC Engine fan (to say nothing of being a retro fan in general).
