Another Nadia comic. This one has been cooking in draft form for a little while, but I finally figured out some details.

Random story. When I was a teenager, I designed an RPG in one of my spare textbooks. It was a bad but simple D&D clone with wildly imbalanced classes, and since I had no dice sets, everything was d6. Not like a dice pool, since I didn't know about those yet, but terrible equations like "Roll 2d6-2".

You ever just think, "Dang, I really want to draw a map of something" but then remember you've already drawn maps for everything you're writing? Like, excuse me, how am I supposed to make pretend cities and fantasy worlds if I've already done it? Truly this is the most important thing to worry about

Tried something else that's fun! I redrew a monster I drew in one of my first sketchbooks from when I was 8 years old, a lifetime ago now. I think I captured the... spirit of the thing.

(Also this was a really fun exercise to do)

Trying something a little different! More cartoony proportions this time. I was sort of going for something more 1800s fantasy? It's a bit rough. Concept is a sort of undead couple who guard a spooky manor, like one of those old PS Resident Evil-like games.

A cool lil design and concept I have going for a villainous extra-dimensional overlord, here. Partially I couldn't decide how cartoony to go and it ended up in a sort of weird half-way spot, but there's always another shot later down the line.

So anyway, I had this dream where I was playing a bootleg superhero fighting game with a character creator. I made some robed and bandage-wrapped priestess with like a bunch of gun barrels or a pipe organ or something where her head should be. Then she manifested in the kitchen with hostile intent.
