I know plenty of college students who use it to “supercharge” everything, I’m sure there are some valid use cases but I’m skeptical that they would amount to justification for its existence.

Sure, nothing justifies actively voting for fascism but it was only 4 years ago that Democratic elected officials around the country looked at a mass movement against police violence and the largest civil rights protests in US history and mostly said nah we're on the cops' side.

In my town every landlord has gone wild with greed, commercial properties that rented for under $2000 a month jumped up to $3-4K or more in a few years.
