Also I can't just mention having a kitten and Not provide pictures of our beloved baby boy, so here he is!! Bug! He's a Himalayan/Bengal mix. :] Such a beautiful lil guy.
Kailey's kitten, Bug, when they first brought him home. He is all off-white in colour, with a dark brown-black colourpoint coat pattern to his ears, tail, and underside to his paws. He has faint light brown stripes and rosettes on his legs, face, and back. He sits curled up in Emily's (Kailey's partner's) lap. His little paws crossed over each other. Bug, curled up and previously was sleeping, now awakened and looking up at the camera, curiously. Bug, a more recent picture taken, now looking a little more adolescent. His patterns are more noticeable now. He sits politely on Kailey's desk with his tail curled around his paws. Bug, fast asleep in his cat bed. He is a mess of limbs, with his paws and tail curled around his face.

In life related news though, we've welcomed a kitten into our home! His name is Bug. I'm still pretty sore about losing Sugar, but I know I will be for a long while yet. Having Bug makes it a little easier, at least!! He's a huge sweetie.

After we had suddenly lost our last cat, my heart was broken as we had virtually NO pictures of her to remember her by. I decided that I'd take A MILLION pictures of our next cat so that I could have all these lovely memories to look back on, when this painful day would eventually come again. 4/6

I was her whole entire world, and she was glued to my side until the very end. She loved my dad, and she grew to tolerate my partner Emily (hah) but she really and truly was My Cat. There never will be any animal like her, and I'm gunna miss her so, so much. 3/6

I've heard some people describe their pets as their other half, an animal that they'd shared a bond unlike any other- and I feel like that was Sugar, to me. She was a troubled cat- she had SO many issues, mentally and physically- but I understood her, and I know she loved me SO much. 2/6

There's no easy way to say this- but we had to put Sugar to sleep today. While I've mourned every animal I've ever had, Sugar being gone I feel like is going to hurt for a very long time.

She was 14, but due to a rare disease she might've had, it was only a matter of time. 1/6
