You are probably right about all that you said, but I’m sure there are also a lot of dems who are among the thousands who have lost their jobs and or have crippling student or medical debt, are having trouble paying high rents etc. They could work for ice but not brutally; fight ice from within

Why don’t a huge number of dems join ice to “take up space and throw sand in the geers” sabotage while still technically obeying; reducing the number of violent interactions, intervening and de-escalating situations

Trump may not be as capable as he was earlier in his career but he’s been able to keep his base. He may not catch on ever cause who knows what his handlers are telling him. I don’t think he’ll ever catch on to anything that is not in the interest of the 1%

A lot of people don’t know Medicaid covers Medicare premiums, copays and deductibles for many low income elderly seniors. The cuts don’t really start till after the midterms and next presidential election. The reason they implemented the cuts like that is obviously so they can still get MAGA votes.

The ACA cuts and Medicaid cuts will also hurt. Everyone should ChatGPT their age, state, and the timeline of the cuts to Medicare and Medicaid in the big beautiful bill that was passed. A lot of people think Medicaid cuts won’t affect them cause it’s called by a different name in each state.
