IMHO the issue is "Does this activity get in the way of people coming in to pray?" A community cafe at the back of church that is welcoming and incidentally makes a profit is OK. A bazaar taking over the whole building is not. Entry fees exclude some people: not OK. Donations: OK #TheArchers #COfE
