And that brings us to the games I'm currently playing but won't finish before the year is over. Metaphor is amazing so far and I can't wait to see where it will go still. And ITT is fun to return too, after I played it initially when it launched. Now with another friend since it joined PS+.

I've already deleted this from my mind of potential plats due to the bugged trophies but apparently it's a Christmas miracle that they finally fixed them 2 years after launching into F2P 😅 With the help of some friends I was able to obtain the final trophy that I was missing 🙌

I was ready to cry from the moment I saw the first trailer and the game did not waver 🤣 As expected from this studio, the art direction is phenomenal. Following Neva through the seasons while trying to fight of the rot attacking the forest, feels like a reflection of real life often enough.

I've enjoyed this game, even though I played it over several chunks over like 7 months. As reimagining of the OG game it works great at deepening and extending these characters we all love. One issue I had was the length and the barrage of miningames in the later chapters

Beautiful souls like in an Italian setting, with a cool class system where you switch masks on the fly to change your stats and equipment. Would love to get the plat for this at some point once they've patched the issues, since they completely messed up the balance for NG+ 🤣

@buddygames.bsky.social streaming the new Mana game made me interested in the series and what better way to start with than the remake of the first game. Very nice JRPG with active action battle instead of turn based as it was the norm when it came out.
