As long as you don't save the meta data with the files, there is no issue. That's a little slower, but it doesn't affect me. They don't interfere with each other.

Great blog entry! I'm in the Emby camp since I purchased a lifetime license years ago (before the fork) when I decided I didn't want to use Plex anymore. I keep a Jellyfin container pointing to the same library and it's come a long way. If needed in the future, I'll be ready to switch.

I agree with most of @jeffgeerling.com 's thoughts on this, but came to post the same thing. You forgot the OS which is included and ready to run out of the box. I think maybe a lot of us nerds take for granted that we just have all that stuff readily available, and that's not always the case.

Sure they did. They said they are 'optimized', 'supercharged', 'improved', and even 'better'. On second thought, maybe we wait for some real reviews. I'm still interested though being a linux gamer and currently using a 6XXX series card.
