Making me happiest today? My tulips.

Currently having big feels about tiny plants. My first flower beds, planted with pansies that are the offspring of the many flats that I rescued from the dumpster at my garden centre job 11 years ago. They went to my parents' brand new yard and now here we are.

I missed #InternationalDayOfWomenAndGirlsInScience by about an hour, but here is some canola I had a hand in making. Plant breeding is my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love my team of mostly women and today I celebrate all of us.

How am I supposed to get up and do anything when this adorableness has me pinned down?

Time to set some fantasy lineups.
