I don't understand this. There's not a natural spring of games that people are trying to "infect" with diversity. The people who want to add diversity to the game they're making do so, and are making their own games

I've been wanting to try kotlin from your posts but not sure what I'd do with it. Compose multiplatform looks fun, have you tried it?

Thankfully it looks like open source is starting to do for art what it did for dev, my younger brother works as a motion designer and apparently his place is adopting Blender now

The thing is though, we all know this. It doesn't give us pause to rethink because we already came to the same conclusion, there's nothing to rethink (other than going the opposite way lol).
There are actual solutions to this problem though, it's not like it's a lost cause

Giving you the benefit of the doubt that you meant this earnestly and aren't just lecturing, this approach has never been particularly effective at getting people to leave the site

Yeh was thinking a similar thing as I replied (though in my case was Django, same point though). Not sure why I didn't think of that before, cheers!

My issue is where the image/video require the context of the text, and to a lesser extent an accessible place to host it all

Yeh that's the problem I've got, I hate the site but have a tonne of great bookmarks on there that I don't want to loose
