My name is Polar! My current artistic focus is ceramics, but I dabble in pretty much every art form I can manage!

My current projects include:

Purple and green tarot stand in a bit of a wavy organic shape. The tarot card is the seven of wands and shows a feminine figure repeatedly and has seven sticks to represent the wands. It is blue, pink, red and green mostly. The deck is Mars Power Tarot by SickSadGirls! The image shows a candle on a painted background. The background is orangey with waves of brown mixed in. The candle's container is brown and very burnt looking because it is pit fired. There is a sad face carved into it as well but it's hard to see in this picture. The candle has white wax and a number of crystals in various shapes and sizes.

I've been rather sick the past few days, but this past weekend I did get to visit my dad! I took this photo of him while my friend and I visited him at work. He's been drinking a lot of Ensure due to his treatments making it hard to swallow. I told him to do his best ad for them, lol!

This image contains 8 of my hand poured candles in vessels that I also threw myself! Six of the vessels are pit fired, the one closest to the lava lamp in the background is raku fired, and the one closest to the boombox is cone 10! All of the candles are white soy wax and have stones of varying shapes, colors, and sizes! Most of the vessels are very earthy burnt colors, but the cone 10 one is forest green! Also, there is a bowl of stones to the left and two up from the bottom! They are all sitting on a hardwood floor! If you read all of this you are very cool! :)

This is a Polaroid photo taken by me with a tripod and self-timer. The photo shows me (Polar) sitting in an orange/brown lounge chair reading Tales From Moominvalley. I also have Sony headphones from the 80s plugged into my Sony Walkman. I'm kind of sitting with my feet over the arm of the chair. I have some rad sunglasses on that I found on Ebay. This was originally a cosplay photo of David from Jackson's Diary (the webtoon), but it's also just a photo of myself that I like! Polaroid photo taken by me (Polar) of my friend! He's cosplaying Luca from the video game Identity V. He's also doing the Shinji chair pose in the most desolate space we could find at Anime Boston. You can actually see a shadow of his soul leaving his body lmao. Polaroid photo with an orange border! This image shows me (Polar) again taken with a tripod! This was actually a test shot I did for my David cosplay! I did not mean to include this much David! Nonetheless, I am wearing vintage jeans with a rainbow strip down the side and a grey fitted sweater with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows. I have my Sony headphones and Walkman again. I'm standing outside on a dirt path leading into the woods. Polaroid photo I (Polar) took of my lovely friend. The Polaroid has a light gradient blue background that gets lighter up at the top of the photo border. The photo itself shows my friend crouching on the ground in a lacy purple dress/gown. The image is shot from above and underneath my friend is a marble floor in a flower esque shape blooming out from beneath her.

Since I've been home from Japan I hadn't had ANY film developed from my photography. So when I sent out last week I had five rolls from varying lengths of time ago, lol! There's so many pictures I love, but let's start with four!

Color shifted film photography photo. Shows vegetation looking very purple due to the type of film (lomography purple). In the dead center there's actually a butterfly resting with it's wings spread open! Another 35mm shot done on lomography purple. The color shifting has lead to the vegetation around the sides being purple. The image shows a clearing with a deer right about in the center a great distance from the photographer (me :D) PURPLE FERNS! The ferns are purple in this image because of the type of film (lomo purple)!! The image is taken up by these ferns except at the top where you can see a few trees! I really shot all these photos with the subject in the center, huh. My bad. Anyways! This is another lomo purple image so it's 35mm film with the colors shifted. The vegetation which was originally green is leaning towards purple now in the picture. On the yellow flowers in the center of the image you can see a bumblebee in focus clinging tightly to get some pollen! There may be other bumblebees in the image, but I'm honestly not quite sure.
