you centrists are very insistent on this viewpoint, detached from real world conditions, that trump is just this glitch in the system that has no reason to exist, as opposed to him being the culmination of decades of american socioeconomic decline as well as an inevitability.

if it weren't trump winning in 2024, it'd be some equally insane populist winning in 2028 by campaigning on all of the same things and potentially even more, because america has been in decline for decades and establishment democrats continue to be spineless even as the bells of fascism ring out.

and if anyone in this political climate really cares, it's the left who calls on american workers to get over electoralism and fight for meaningful change, not the center who demands we stay obedient to an out-of-touch failing party that helped create the conditions for trump in the first place.

if you want democrats to ever take the stage again, demand better from democratic leadership rather than blaming your fellow american voters for democratic failures and doing trump's job for him by further dividing and weakening the working class against itself.

the harris-walz campaign catered to the center-right in an era where young voters are more progressive and leftist than ever before, which killed the momentum from the 2020 election. it is common sense that people will not vote for a candidate who alienates them and ignores their concerns.

putting "scholars figure" before a claim doesn't make it correct. who are the scholars? how do they define communism? do they have any interests (e.g. owning a business, working for or receiving funds from an anti-communist government) that may interfere with their academic integrity wrt this topic?
