The finished, updated and extended land of Nicea. The new sections are to the far west and east. Seeing the ocean on both sides frames the continent and improves the map more than I would have guessed. #mapping #dndmap #dndcartography #cartography

I’m drawing the line work for jungles, an excuse to add dinosaurs in the dense rainforest. It’s for dnd so the land needs to invite exploration. The jungle is criss crossed by rivers and mysterious ziggurats and gives way to a desert region with a few settlements. #mapping #cartography #rpg

I’m back once again to the magical land of Nicea. The client has been using the map in family games and now wants to extend the map to the east and west so it shows the whole continent which will look great. I love the spherical projection, I really want to draw a world map this way.

The map was a challenge, we needed to visualise this highly magical and fascinating world composed of a floating island sundered into two parts between a waterfall of souls. This is generally adult dark fantasy and I’m here for it. #fantasycartography #cartography

The geometry of this city map was too tricky to draw by eye alone, so I started by modelling the main cutaway cone and the central spiral path in Blender. And I’m glad I did, I’ve spent hours trying to get spiral staircases right, they are more tricky than they look. #Cartography

Making progress with adding colour on the space horror, spaceship map, with a well stocked cargo bay…. ‘We got tactical smart missiles, phased plasma pulse rifles, RPGs, we got sonic electronic ball breakers! We got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks...’ #battlemap #ttrpg #rpg

I’ve started adding colour to my space horror spaceship, and this time I’m not going down the blueprint vibe like I often do however, It’s still fun to see what it would look like. It’s on my long todo list to try real blueprint printing, it doesn’t look that hard, and would be a fun. #map #ttrpg

I had fabulous fun drawing the map for Darcy Cole‘s www.darcicole.com fantasy romance novel. The city is carved inside a small mountain, and has a Middle Eastern vibe, which I hinted at with the font, title and border decoration. #citymap #ink #lineart

My game of choice right now is Hunt Showdown. I’m not much for FPS games, but I play this in a team with friends and it’s fun because it’s very slow and tactical. The game gets a big update today, so tonight you’ll only find me in 1896 fighting zombies #HuntShowdown #gamergirl

My players have messed up an encounter in the swampy region, to intervene in a gradually escalating argument between an autognome Druid and the autognome ranchers riding clockwork dinosaurs. Things are now much worse as both sides turn on the players, roll for initiative. #dnd

Non map things.... Wyrmspan is my current board game addiction , I loved wingspan, but I think this dragon themed evolution is even better. How could I not love a game where you have to raise baby dragons and dig caves for them? So much fun. #boardgames
