the reason 101 dalmations looks like that is because disney incorporated xerography (ie early photocopying technology) into the animation process. rough pencils (by mostly male animators) were copied onto the cels so that disney could fire the (mostly female) inkers. remember that art can lie to you

Pet peeve of mine: a bad handshake. My parents made my brother and I take an etiquette class one evening in high school and I vividly remember being taught to give a strong grip/shake. When i get that wimpy finger grab bullshit?? NO. YUCK.

Mentally blocking it out but yesterday my supervisor stopped by to talk about some broken pedestrian lights and not 5 mins into the chat this random woman doesnt hit the walk button, walks directly into traffic. Right in front of both of us. Headphones on, also talking to someone on speakerphone.

The fact that theyre releasing the redacted version of the files for “national security reasons” is vile. If a country’s security and reputation relies on protecting pdfs, it is not a country worthy of survival.

My shift was 1 hour and 15 mins. I saw a grand total of 24 police cars/motorcycles. In tinyass San Marino!! That is insane.
I havent even been sat down working for 10 mins and ive seen 6 motorcycle cops and 2 squad cars. What is going on this morning, San Marino?

Boycott Starbucks and Target. As someone who worked at one of these in-store locations, this drink is just a peppermint mocha frappe without the coffee base (cream based). Its not a new idea. Youre not missing out at all.
Beginning Monday, a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate drink will be available exclusively at Starbucks cafés inside Target stores.
The chains are hoping the drink can drum up excitement from customers this holiday season.

One more thing to complain about this morning while im out here. I miss the post-rain smell that was pleasant. Like worms and wet dirt. LA after a rain just smells like dog pee and diluted gasoline 😔 WHERES MY WORMS

Very frustrating that when i say i keep handwarming packs in my sleeves to keep warm at work in the mornings, i get a response of “how cold is cold tho 🙄 we have SNOW here lol”
