You're right, that's why I think they might start looking at alliances as short term agreements they will have to agree to renew. But the level of mutualism will not be the same as it was. Maybe America will learn it's lesson after this clown tanks everything. We can only hope. (And resist)

We don't deserve that in any way. He is not us. Luckily the rest of the developed world's leaders have compassion and emotional maturity. 'America's id' may be the best description I've heard yet though.

I disagree...but I do think it will permanently change their level of skepticism. I believe Canada and Europe will be willing to restore ties after a major change of leadership, but will maintain greater independence and most likely form short term agreements in the event of another nut case.

Yes, but the goal isn't to reenact it so much as remind ppl that history is sometimes on the side of the ppl.....the fact that they did not fare entirely well is a valid matter, and a lesson we can learn from. The benefit of this kind of content is pointing our anger toward hope/radical solidarity.

Yeah! Misogyny is the consolation prize for racism. Black women had to accept abuse and oppression inside their own homes without any outer protection for much longer than black men accepted the same unchecked abuse from their white peers. Racism breeds Misogyny and Misogyny increases inequity.

I would prefer a platform that is inclusive for republicans as well...a version of Twitter similar to how it started would be great. Just completely open, no predatory algorithms, stricter rules on toxicity...but still welcoming diversity of thought. 1/
