You wouldn't need them to be *great* at the alternate positions, but even at about the equivalent of -2 WAR were they to full-time the alternate positions ("a little below average"), this is probably worth 2-3 wins over a season.

There is still a point, even if it's just to keep in practice (and god knows I sincerely hope I can get out of my way enough to get Prospero to the point where I feel comfortable starting to open it to other people, because you're first on the list of "who else gets to contribute" if you want).

As a Jaguars fan, I sincerely hope Cam Little attempts an 80-yard FG in Denver next week, partly so the league can decide this offseason to revert the amount of time teams have to prepare balls for kickers back down to something more sane.

I get the feeling some team missing the playoffs this year is going to make a ridiculously low offer for Dillon Gabriel that the Browns will accept, and that team will make the playoffs next year.
